All our paints are baby/toddler/child safe and are non toxic and water based therefore they wash out from clothes too!
Can I bring food and drink?
Generally NO!! only exceptions are Birthday parties (which we are hosting) and on adult only evenings or evening group bookings. Do speak to member of staff if you have questions.
How long does it take to get my pottery back?
All your painted pottery has to be hand dipped in glaze, foot wiped and then loaded into the kiln. The firing itself takes a good couple of days, so we generally allow 10 days for collection. This will also depend on the time of year and if you are having any commission work done to your items where it can take a few extra days. You will be given a collection date on your receipt.
Please note we hold item for a maximum of 3 months, so please do not forget to collect your items!

What if i do not finish my items
If you do not finished your items you are welcome to return to finish painting the item(s), we will charge you half price studio fee.
What happens if a problem occurs during the firing process?
Whilst all efforts are made to avoid any issues sometimes they are unavoidable, we are dealing with a production process and a breakable product. Should your piece be damaged or broken we will contact you to apologies and offer you refund or the opportunity to redo.
Can i place items in the dishwasher or microwave?
All our items are often placed in the Dishwasher and Microwave by customers and are safe safe, however recommend saying NO!! to both Our bisque is ceramic earthenware. These are porous and do hold moisture, therefore can get very hot and stay hot longer.
It is industry standard that unless an item is stamped or marked dishwasher, oven or microwave “safe” then it isn’t.
However, we do know customers that frequently place their hand-painted items in ovens, dishwashers and microwaves. If you make the decision to use your item in a domestic appliance then we strongly advise that extra care is taken.
DO remember that our bisque is ceramic earthenware. Earthenware is porous and it will trap moisture. Therefore, extreme care should be taken as the pottery can get VERY HOT.
DO remember pottery will remain hotter for longer
DO allow pottery to heat up gradually i.e. warm up teapots prior to use, warm pieces to room temperature after removing from refrigerator, don’t place cold wares in hot water
DO allow hot pottery to cool down slowly i.e. don’t place hot wares in cold water
DO NOT use domestic appliances if the piece is precious. Continual expansion and contraction of the piece will weaken the pottery over time and may cause cracking.
